July 26, 1989 – Standby Systems, Inc. opened the doors for business. At that time, the company employed two people, a service technician and an office employee, and was operating from home.
Jump to the present – Standby Systems has its own home and has a few more employees. We are a locally owned small business. As a small business, we can offer a more individualized service with our customers. This enables us to meet their needs more accurately, and in some cases establish a bond.
Standby Systems, Inc. has been in the generator business for 25 years and we are an authorized dealer for Cummins (Onan), Winco, Generac, and Kohler generators and we service all makes and models of generator and transfer switches. We have a large client base from Virginia to North Carolina. We offer competitive bids on Preventative Maintenance programs. We also can provide you with pricing on any new Cummins (Onan), Winco, and Kohler Generators and transfer switches.
